AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The organisers say Israel has banned kites in Gaza but insist the measure cannot crush Palestinian spirit or halt expressions of solidarity. Participants are invited to fly kites and send photographs of the activity by direct message to the group’s social media accounts on or before 15 September.
The campaign, promoted under the slogan “Fly Kites in India for Palestine,” frames the act as a symbolic gesture of support. Organisers emphasise that restrictions imposed in Gaza will not stop public displays of solidarity elsewhere.
BDS India has asked supporters to share images via Instagram and Facebook under the handle @bdsinindia.
